:o I flew through this, very horrible but satiated my Hannibal brain rot. The main guy was rly interesting in his complete emotional shutdown to It All; you held out faith in his empathy right until the end, faith that humanity could be redeemed. I think the worldbuilding could have been a bit stronger, I’d have loved some issues to have been explored more, but this was a rly dark and gripping dystopia that will def linger. Loved the bits about the zoo, didn’t love all the violent slaughter.
