Overall a pretty weak installment after a really strong first three. There's a lot of nothing happening int his one and characters just kind of idling about with a small conflict here or there. There is some buildup of the Titan/Soul Eaters conflict but it's all very minimal.
The most frustrating part is that most of the book is justThorn being not proactive at all as the new Great Father. It makes sense that he'd deny his role at first, but spending almost an entire book where he is in denial and does very little just get frustrating after a while.
