This reads like a parody of 90s teenage hood, almost like MTV downtown but more on drugs, heathers but more British, a hedonistic fever dream and one of the weirdest coming out of age stories you ever had to witness. Problematic? Sure. Controversial? Definitely! Worth your time? If you’re into that stuff give it a go.
