I read this in 2016 and now re-read it, because I didn't remember all that much and I had planned to read the sequel. I again enjoyed it. Yes, it's has a fairy-tale vibe to it (ordinary girl meets Hollywood star), but also enough depth about life and family and fame and social media. It was funny and sweet with a dash of sad and I'm quite glad the there finally is a sequel to the cliff hanger. (19 August 2024)
