I really like this book. It kind of had a few nice lessons in it that I find applicable to myself; learning to accept your past mistakes, working a goal that you had previously given up on etc. The character was very reflective which I really enjoyed but i feel like i was getting 'told' a lot of information about the magic in this world rather than being shown it. Not a huge problem for most of the book but I found it hard to imagine scenes where the main character was using her magic. I REALLY REALLY like this book though and its got lovely world-building.
