The Conquest of Bread by Peter Kropotkin
informative
inspiring
slow-paced
4.5
It took me a year, but I finally finished the bread book! The length of time I spent reading this is not an indicator of the quality of writing. It's very readable, almost conversational in writing style. I'm just shit at reading non-fic.
Definitely some parts are outdated. Makes me want to sit down with Kropotkin for tea and explain current events and computers to him.
(Also, just a quick warning because it caught me totally off-guard, he does drop the n-word in the last chapter of the book. Not in a mean-spirited way, just like... if he time travelled to present day you'd have to take him aside and be like "Hey, you really can't use that phrase anymore, it's super racist and rude.")

Minor: Racial slurs
