Slade in his villain era is all I ever wanted, but this book was so much more. I have been one of Auren's biggest haters up until she finally woke up in Glow. In Gold, she was incredible. I believed in her strength and her will to no be so codependent. Yes she still had help, but it was so necessary to see her have some self preservation and determination. Her also stumbling into her own tribe and village. I wanted this for her so bad. No snippy haters turned allies. Just good people. Love you Emonie💕
Let me be crystal clear that there is not a world where I like Queen Malina. No redemption. Shout-out to assassin bae though.
The multiple POVs are so fun, but seeing the solution to my faves problem from like chapter 1 and still having to watch them not get the solution until chapter 50 was PAINFUL.
