Ella's past is making me more and more drawn to the series. All we really knew about her from Inside Out series that she was Sara's best friend and wanted to marry David but now we know she might be more than just a teacher. She can dance and she's great with guns.

I'm usually drawn to opposite attract couples but there are some, like Kayden and Ella who I enjoy that have a totally different pasts but they are alike. They both have lost a lot of people and they both have a dark side. That's why they're able to connect and Kayden doesn't need to be careful with her. He can tell her things about the Underground without being afraid she'll get upset and leave him. They're alike even in ways neither of them know.

Kayden and Ella both need each other to be handle the good, the bad and even the ugly part of themselves. I'm delighted they are deciding to be together, no matter what happens despite not knowing everything from Ella's past.

They're taking control of the situation and they're doing it together. They refuse to let anything from either of their pasts stop what they're now. I found it really sweet how they wanted to keep each other safe but neither really want to be protected. He wants a lot of things from her. Protection isn't one of them. Kayden never wants anything Ella doesn't give him freely and I love that he wants to make her bad memories good ones. He'd rather she didn't remember than be in pain and I think that's sweet. But he won't stop her either. Kayden just wants her to ease into it instead of doing it all at once.

We finally know who is the man who Ella is so afraid of but I'm more interested in what happened with David. Hopefully it will be revealed in Surrender. There's so many questions related to him. We also got a tiny bit of information about Kayden's relationship with Elizabeth and he could never trust her the way he trusts Ella because Elizabeth never knew the real him and she was too delicate for his life and he had too keep her shielded.

All in all wonderful sequel! I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed it and can't wait to read the last book. I have many hopes for it after reading Demand. Not just answers but also Ella choosing to wear the bracelet, knowing what it means and not just wearing it because she had to in public. I love Ella and Kayden and they're so great together even if they have some distrust between them at times but it's no wonder since she has amnesia and there are things he doesn't always tell her right away. If you like some mystery and suspense with your romance and don't mind the whole amnesia trope I'm totally recommending this one. It has been fun and I never want to put the book down. I was going to give Demand only four stars but after reviewing it I think it totally deserves full five stars. This kind of books are so rare for me and I really did love it.
