OH MY GOSH! I loved this so much!
Growing up I didn't watch Avatar the Last Airbender...in fact...I watched it for the first time last year. I loved it! I remember going to the internet to look up all the fandom stuff about the show and loved seeing fan art about Kyoshi or break-downs about how she is absolutely incredible. So when I saw these books I knew I had to get around to reading them and I am so glad I did!
Kyoshi's story is truly amazing, I thought this story was very well written and engaging. It was a fast read for me just because I felt like I was flying through all the action needing to know what happens next. I liked seeing her character grow and advance and navigate not only her own life and growth but the life of the Avatar. Her relationship with her friends was sweet and at times absolutely heartbreaking. If you're a fan of Avatar you have got to read The Rise of Kyoshi!!! You won't be disappointed!
