You ever read a book and think it’s me, hi? That’s how I felt reading this book and I know it’s one that will stay with me forever! This books takes our protagonist Adelaide through the highest highs and lowest lows. It’s raw and brutal and messy and beautiful and she was someone I instantly felt connected too (even though she was fictional).

Adelaide’s relationship journey felt so familiar. The insecurity with every ignored text, the hook ups, the butterflies, the regret… I felt it all!! Her story with Rory felt like one I had told and one that had been told to me through friends. He is the woat and I’m glad all of bookstagram agrees!

What I loved about this one is through everything Adelaide went through, she always had a strong network of friends. Those rocks are the ones that can help you through everything. I also loved that she listened to herself and knew when something was “off”!

Honestly I could talk about this book for much more than one post but something I do want to point out is the content warnings. This is not the easiest book to read but it’s one that I feel will touch so many others!!
