Review previously placed on my blog:

I'm currently reading The sky blues by Robbie Couch. I'm listening to the audiobook. I'm reading this, because I got a 60 day free trial for a BookBeat and want to use that as much as possible with books that are not on Storytel. This is a young adult contemporary romance book with LGBTQ+ characters.

Loving this so far. Which is pretty easy with these genres. I really like the main character and I love the diversity in this book. Story itself is pretty standard, but I don't really mind that.

So... that took a turn. I was going to give this 3 stars. When the story evolved certain things were not done very well in my opinion. But this is a debut, so that is sort of expected. It was still a fun story. But: there were quite a few HP references. This book came out in 2021. There is a trans character in this book. No. Just no. Don't do that. So therefore I removed another star from my rating. This is just not okay.
