The Christie Affair by Nina de Gramont

2.0

A few years ago, I think on a "Women of London" walking tour I had learned about Agatha Christie's mysterious 11 days of "gone missing". I recall that she never revealed anything about it, so I thought this might make a good fictional story. But sadly, I really didn't like this fictional version of it for basically two reasons. First: to me the plot just felt so far-fetched in so many aspects. Secondly, I just couldn't get on board with this narrating voice / point-of-view. First person but still sort of omnipresent while also being a bit meta about it. It was weird and I didn't like it at all.
