I don’t normally read these kind of books but I listen to them when they are included with Audible Plus while I wait for my credits to renew. This book is fine for what it is. But the characters are horrible. Every single one of them. Completely unlikeable. The dialogue was clunky and the pacing all over the place. Eve’s secret took forever to come out and the tension in the book was poorly executed with some really laughable moments. Overall the book is fine if you want to kill some time but don’t go into it expecting a masterclass in storytelling.
Moderate: Miscarriage, Rape, Abandonment
