The Call Of Ctulhu by H.P. Lovecraft

2.0

Was very meh

Cthulhu was indeed a very mysterious and interesting creature and I do want to know more about it but only a quarter of a page was "Cthulhu" itself. So basically I waited this whole time reading about a person called Thurston talking about his Uncle and investigating Cthulhu, we never even see what Cthulhu does, he's basically just "super powerful"and can "drive people mad" but isn't that a little too vague. This isn't really a rant but I am kinda mad. I was trying my best to not let Lovecraft come into my mind while reading the story but that was a little impossible because I don't particularly like him and I hope that he hasn't affected my rating and review.

Here's a quote I liked from it though to lighten things up:
There are vocal qualities peculiar to men, and vocal qualities peculiar to beasts; and it is terrible to hear the one when the source should yield the other.
