I have some mixed emotions on this one.
I’m happy to finally finish this series. I love the characters and am happy for the ending they got (mostly). It’s some of the things that happened along the way in this installment (and including a bit of the book before this too) that I’m not thrilled about. Overall I liked it. The story had some good tension, and was pretty well paced. There are some things left open ended that I guess could be answered in Jacinta’s story, but I’m probably not going to read.

If you’ve made it this far in the books, defiantly finish it off, this book is good, despite what I personally didn’t like. (Which I go into detail below).

If you don’t want spoilers, stop reading now.
I don’t really like the pregnancy trope in books to begin with, but this is probably the worst way I have ever read it. I absolutely despise the way Veronica got pregnant, and then it is actually their baby! I hoped and prayed that it wasn’t theirs or that something would happen to make it not theirs. It’s disappointing to me because I was loving this series and for me, that kind of ruined it all. I don’t think I’ll read it again because I can’t stand that storyline. No thanks.
Another thing I found upsetting was when Jax and Harlow are forced to have sex in front of the psycho. It was gross and then they were also forcibly drugged. That all left a bad taste in my mouth.

I wish there had been TW or CW for these things.
