DNF at 54% - not rating a book I didn't finish.
I am going to keep this short and explain why I couldn't finish this book. I really enjoyed the first quarter of the book and it was very mysterious and I had no idea what was going on. My biggest problem with this book were the main characters. I just couldn't feel any chemistry between them, and I had a very hard time connecting with them as well. I also didn't really like both characters personalities. Dash came across as very childish and Kinley was very hot and cold. She made me very confused in a bad way. At one point it was getting annoying and I wanted her to make up her mind about certain things. I liked Dash more than I did Kinley, and I understood why he did the things he did. I also felt the story was kind of monotone, and at some point I wasn't really reading anymore but just browsing through the sentences. I think I would've been able to finish this book if the characters kept me interested enough to find out what was going on. I did like the mystery aspect and all the secrets.
This book just wasn't for me. Will I try to finish this book at a later date? Maybe if I am in the mood to find out what will happen.
