Hands down, I already admired Michelle Visage before reading this book. My best friend gave it to me for my birthday and half a year later I read it. Just at the right time, in a difficult and very busy time in my life I picked 'The Diva Rules' as my get away. And bish this gem got to me. Reading in the few minutes i had to spare it soothed me, it gave me strength it just picked me right up. Also I have no idea what happened but it made me cry somehow. I had all the feels with it. So happy I had this little literary island and I can already see myself reread it
