I'm glad this genre is getting some attention and I'm glad to see the quality of graphic novels have improved. What a great way to reach so many readers. It's also fun to see how the brain has to switch gears from reading books to graphic novels - it does require you to read them differently!
Claudette is a fun, new heroine. She's brave, she's brash, she's tough, but she's also a great friend. Watch her with her friend and brother face the baby-feet-eating giant!
