“Isabel Ward was the blood-red apple, tempting just by being herself. She was the thing I shouldn’t want but might wreck the world around me in order to try”.

I don’t think I was prepared for how much I was going to love Isabel and Aiden. This book blew me away and I felt connected to Isabel so much. I really sympathized with her and her fear to let anyone in and her fear of change. I loved watching her slowly open up and let Aiden in and to find love. Aiden was nothing like I predicted and it was a treat to read his chapters. I liked that Aiden was broody and quiet. Reading about Aiden slowly opening himself up to love and both him and his daughter learning that it’s okay to move on was my favorite.🥺

Then tension in this book was almost unbearable. I wanted them to get together soooo bad. When they finally kissed I think I screamed😅. However it was so worth it in the end and I absolutely loved this story!!!
