Baylor, oh Baylor *swoon*. These mafia men get me hot and bothered like nothing else and Deborah Garland delivers them to us on a silver platter each and every time. The Astoria Royals have quickly become one of my favorite mafia worlds.
The nerdy, younger brother falls and falls hard. The lengths that man went to protect Ella was book boyfriend gold. Ella and Baylor both have reasons why they are not interested in a relationship but fate had other plans for this couple. Their banter and chemistry were off the charts. The suspense and angst had me hooked from beginning to end. I loved the twist and turns, suspense and surprises, and of course a hard fought HEA for Baylor and Ella.
