The Bride Test by Helen Hoang
5.0
“Their bodies lined up next to each other in that perfect way, and he pressed his cheek to hers like he was savoring being close to her.
“Please, don’t let me make you cry,” he whispered in her ear. “If something is wrong, tell me so I can fix it. Please.”
Her heart squeezed, and she hugged him tight. “I’ll tell you.”
I love this book so much I can never get over this book.
I fell in love with the characters, the plotline, the romance, the love, happiness, sadness and everything.
All I want to do is protect Khai and Esme's love so much.
I knew I was going to love the book considering how much I love The Kiss Quotient but I did not expect what we were given.
I love this more than the first book and although I have yet to read the third book and its not even out yet I think, The Bride Test wills till be my favourite.
Something about the plotline, the story, the characters just made me love them.
Its definitely different than the first one.
When reading the book I feel like you are rooting for both Khai and Esme's romance but at the same time you know what they are going through individually hence you are rooting them individually to succeed on their own at the same time.
Every time a chapter ends I just want to give them both hugs.
Of course what they went through is completely differently from each other but its more real and relatable than the first book I feel.
I was more emotionally attached to Khai and Esme.
I laugh, cried, feel the sexual tension, the flirt, the bittersweet moments and all.
It was such a slow burn journey but it was worth it.
Not going to lie I fell in love with Quan for a bit here and there.
I don't know if I'm ready for his book. HAHAHHA.
highly recommend this series! LOVE IT
“I’ve missed you.” So badly his body had broken down. “I need to know you’re safe and happy. And I want you close. With me.”
