All I Want by A.D. Justice
4.0
Rod is all ready cynical. It will be interesting to see if his thinking changes. Daisy has a great friend that reminds me that having some fun is a necessary part of life. Daisy, however, always seems to be waiting for something – whether that good or bad is up in the air.
As I was reading this, I kept feeling like this was an adult version of Spring Break – no worries, no consequences. But I liked the characters so I wanted to see what direction this story was going to go. That’s the point where I knew I couldn’t put the book down. I wanted to know that this wasn’t just a case of “what happens in Vegas...”
I got really interested once we get into some of the more personal side of things – learning what’s really going on in their personal lives. The author created a secondary character that I could connect with and it was hard to keep a tear from appearing. But the author was good in not letting this other character overtake what was going on between the main characters.
Since this is the first part of duet, things were left in the air. This is a good thing since you’ll want to know what is to come next. Lucky for us, we won’t have to wait too long to see how things are going to end. How will things be resolved? We’ll have to wait and see.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
