This trilogy is tricky for me because I feel like in book 1 we were setting up this world with all these magical generational connections and then book 2 took a hard left into a different path and then book 3 was fairly fast faced and mostly action. I may have messed up in the time in between I read each book because it truly felt like I read 3 different books that were loosely connected because of the characters. Also a tidbit for book 3 and I don’t remember if this was going on in the previous books but this is a multi pov book and the audio doesn’t do chapter headers so it took me some time to figure out whose chapter was whose. Anika does an amazing job with the narration though!
