I am really enjoying the journey Lisa Shelby is taking readers on with the Only In Goose Hollow series. The Only Heart That Matters is book two in the series and gives us Mia and Angus' story.

They shared such a heartwarming connection and mutual attraction. Their story was very emotional at times, but sweet and a little spicy too. Single mom and brother's best friend are two of my favorite tropes and Lisa Shelby did a fantastic job delving into both in this book.

Mia and Angus have deep rooted feelings for each other but believe the secrets they hold close to the chest would cause the other to not feel the same about them. When Angus stands on his morals to protect Mia and her son, and pretends to be her husband and father of her child, the line they'd drawn between friends and would be lovers quickly starts to fade.

Secrets are unveiled and things get messy and emotional, but Mia and Angus get the HEA they both deserved.
