I so very liked it. And I don’t like spy novel, it’s really not my genre. But this is the first I tried and I’m such a FAN of Le Carré!!! His writing style is spectacular, the book was short but so packed of action and it gave me to read what I wanted to read. Not like many books that insert chapters just to make the book longer and in the meantime you’re excitement fades and you feel that reading that middle chapter is a chore.
The book discussed topics as moral and political beliefs, sacrifices, what’s the “greater good”, love, and loyalty. I really will endlessly praised this book and it’s a great stand-alone (as I read it).
