Hans is the final installment to Alliance series and my favorite one in the series!
Cassie is used to giving up on new hobbies but even though Hans didn't show any signs of being interested she never gave up on him. It didn't matter that she only saw him once. Cassie kept gifting him food (feeding people was her love language) and trying to see him. She had no idea Hans was actually obsessed with her but wanted to keep her safe from him and his enemies.
Hans was obsessed with Cassie since the moment he met his neighbor but he knew he wasn't good for her. She was nine years younger than him and he knew she'd be in danger because of his job. He found the things she gave him disgusting but he ate every single bite and hated the idea of anyone else eating anything she cooked. It all went according to the plan until he opened her mail that was accidentally delivered to him. Hans knew he should turn her away but not only didn't he want to but he didn't want to hurt her feelings.
Hans was obsessed with Cassie and so possessive that he didn't like other men even touching her hand or touching the notes she gave him. Cassie's also possessive of him. She hated the idea of other women looking at him or even thinking about the possible women he has slept with.
Hans is a slow burn romance but the minute they got together I could barely stop reading to sleep. They're so protective of each other and I can't tell you how much I loved that instead of being afraid of him, Cassie was turned on by his violent side.
All in all it was ever better than I thought it would be. I love how they were both possessive and a little violent. I wish the series wasn't over but it was great ending for great series. We got both action and swoon worthy moments and I was so happy to see all the main characters from previous books.
