“A mess is something that needs to be cleaned up. You’re not a mess.” He looks at me then, and his face turns oddly serious. He is no longer laughing. “You’re a force to be wreckoned with.”

This book came recommended in an author newsletter and I knew I had to check it out. Not only do I trust said author, the cover is gorgeous.

The book did not disappoint! It’s YA but definitely more in the older/mature range. There is a climate change message that I thought was very well done. There might have been tears at the end. You’ll have to read it to find out if they were happy tears or sad tears😉.
