Another great one from this author

Review previously placed on my blog 2023:

I have read What moves the dead by T. Kingfisher. I read the ebook whilst listening to the audiobook. Read this for my Authors TBR. This is an adult horror book.

Enjoyed this as much as the other books I have read from this author. Just a really solid horror book. I loved the characters as always and the humor. It was pretty creepy, but not too much, which I like. Excited to read even more by this author.

Review previously placed on my blog 2024:

I'm currently reading What moves the dead by T. Kingfisher. I'm reading the ebook. Reading this for the T. Kingfisher readalong I'm doing on Discord. This is my second time reading this book. This is a horror book with LGBTQ+ characters.

First time I read this I listened to the audiobook. Would not recommend, because the narrator is not a good fit for the main character. It got me very confused about the identity of the main character. The ebook is easier to follow because you don't have the narrator ruining it for you. So far it is as creepy as I remembered. Don't think it will be my favorite horror by Kingfisher, because it is lacking the humour. But nevertheless will be a great read.

Very good book. It is very creepy in parts, loved that. Love all the characters, as always. This one is a bit less funny then the other ones so therefore not my favorite. But still really good. Excited to read the sequel soon.
