Ghost Knight by Cornelia Funke

5.0

Infuriated by his mother’s new boyfriend eleven-year-old Jon Whitcroft is packed off to a boarding school attached to Salisbury Cathedral. But he soon forgets his troubles back home when he’s chased by a gang of murderous spectral knights. With his friend Ella they summon the aid of the ghost of the long dead Sir William Longspee to protect him from these ghostly hunters, and in return Jon performs a service to Longspee.

Hill’s excellent delivery combined with Funke’s ability to create distinctive and engaging characters make this a superb recording.
