Y'ALL THE WAY THIS BOOK STOLE MY HEART!!! I figured I would enjoy it going in but I really had very little knowledge of it outside of "this cover is cool and I'm trying to read as many LGBT+ books as I can get my gay little hands on." Luc's voice was PERFECT, so sarcastic and dry and witty. This book was just very unexpectedly funny. The side characters all had their own agency without feeling like they existed just to serve a plot point, I really loved the realism of Luc and Oliver's relationship, and Luc's struggle with his dad was just very genuine and well done. One of the things I often have hang ups about in romance and romantic comedy novels are the sex scenes, but in this book they felt very well done without being cringy with adjectives/descriptions. Overall I just had such a good time reading it!! It made me really happy and I seriously cannot recommend it enough. This book feels very underrated and I want to make everyone I know read it.
