There was a lot about this book that I was really excited for, but also a lot that I didn't love how it was handled or I found super frustrating. For some characters their choices and path made sense, but for others, the build up of who they were and their standing in this realm made their decisions make no sense, it was jarring, and really took me out of it.

I appreciate this book for what it has done for the world-building, but I don't love how a lot of it was handled overall.
