Flawless by Elsie Silver

Flawless is sweet romance and I enjoyed it overall, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. I found myself a bit bored for most of the story, until things started picking up in the last third of the book. I felt like there was a lot of fluff for most of the story that could have been cut down.

I really enjoyed reading Summer's backstory and watching her growth. Summer and Rhett don't quite get along at first, but it was heartwarming to watch them fall in love. I didn't love Rhett at first because he was showing a lot of immaturity in my eyes, but I grew to like him throughout the story. I initially struggled to find him attractive because his career as a bull-rider is against my personal values (animal exploitation and cruelty). However, I picked up this book knowing that the MMC is a bull-rider, and it doesn't really affect my review. His career is an important part of the story, but there aren't a lot of bull-riding scenes.

The setting of Chestnut Springs and the Eaton family ranch are very charming and cozy. The side characters add a lot of enrichment to the story and I want to read more about them! I am very interested in Cade and Willa's story (Hopeless), so I will continue reading the series. Also VERY interested to see what happens with Winter.

If you like small-town romances with cowboys and cozy vibes, pick this up!
