Apathy and Other Small Victories by Paul Neilan
5.0
"Two wrongs don't make a right, but sometimes they make me laugh."
This is by far the best book I've read in ages. With a biting wit, and brisk pace Paul Neilan has crafted an awesome piece of work. Sadly, it's his only book. Following the life of Shane, a pessimistic nobody as he weaves his way through a life he hates, Apathy kicks off with a murder mystery that really isn't the sole focus of the book. It's more of a Macguffin to move the funny along. If you like dark humor and great writing then you need to stop reading this review and go start buying this book. It's perfect.
