The Ice Twins by S.K. Tremayne

5.0

The Ice Twins is a deeply disturbing story. It chilled me to the bone. Filled with wonderful descriptions that are perfectly placed and necessary, adding to the dark and horrendous events that Angus and Sarah have been through. And are going through.
Remote Scottish Island. Alpha male. Protective Mother. Spooky kid(s). A scattering of photos at the end of chapters. A truly unique journey. Skeleton-filled cupboards. Oh, and a brick on the toilet seat to stop the Mink escaping into the bathroom! (A much needed light-hearted moment amongst all the intensity)
An absolute page-turner. I was tense and truly worried for all the main characters in this book.
I would strongly recommend this complex and haunting book to readers who like to get sucked in, chewed up and spat out. It owned me.
