I wish I was more invested in the characters, the plot, etc. by this point… but I’m not and so I’ll be moving on. The pacing up to this point leaves something to be desired; there seems to be several tangents occurring in the same story but nothing *really* happening if you catch my drift. I’m sure there will be others who love it though.
I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher, Doubleday Canada, of this advanced digital copy for the opportunity to read this novel in exchange for an honest review! All opinions expressed are my own.
