Maybe it's just me

Moderately solid story, but this book needs some serious editing. The misplaced punctuation throughout made certain passages very difficult to follow.

Now to the 'maybe it's just me' part. In no way do I want to belittle the trauma that Liam went through. He was violated and betrayed by people he trusted. But I can't help but feel sometimes that he needed to grow the fuck up. Many times, I wanted to just shake him and tell him to grow a pair and fight back. He made the choice to do adult films, and I respect that. What I am having a little more trouble getting my head around is all the anger and self hatred that he buried himself in. Maybe it's just me, but I would be pissed and fight back. I got a little weary of seeing him curled in a fetal position and sobbing. I get it, Liam, I truly do. But you know you didn't deserve any of that and people were doing you dirty, so put on your big boy pants and start kicking ass. Your reputation was already destroyed, you couldn't lose much more. Start kicking ass and taking names.

That being said, all in all I did enjoy the story for the most part. The presumed inĀ¢est was not a trigger for me. What bothered me most of all was the messy editing that continually brought me out of the story and forced me to reread passages and sort out the word jumble.

I'm also a bit disappointed with the lack of epilogue or sequel. I really want to know how Liam and his men work through everything.
