The Dialectics of Schizophrenia by Philip Thomas
4.0
This book is overall clear and easy to understand, although, in the middle of the book there are chapters like about where illness could come from that is not clear to me at all. Like having someone who is ill in family.
There are thesis that put it simply as simple as possible and that is, positive symptoms are these that are experiences that should not be there, but witch are, negative symptoms are features that should be present but witch are not.
-three types of auditory hallucinations.
-interference in thinking process.
-passivity experience.
-the primary delusional experience
-catatonic symptoms.
-Blunting of affect Blunted affect.
-poverty of speech.
-lack of drive lack of pleasure and poor attention.
If you dont have one or more symptoms you probably will not be diagnosed.
There is even note about Folie à deux, Shared psychotic disorder discovered by Jules Philippe Falret .
As Psychotic disorders in It's best are like wrong beliefs about how world is, and the best way to get out of it is to learn, read, and study. In my believe.
Good study like all the other medical books about that illness that I bought, back in England.
