The Death of Mrs. Westaway by Ruth Ware
5.0
The Death of Mrs. Westaway by Ruth Ware--The initial setup is familiar. A young woman is invited to a family estate for the reading of a will for someone she has no connection to. But the outcome of the story is superb. Ware has complete mastery of creating foreboding and resonant thrillers, and her skills are on full display here. The book's running theme of tarot, of choices and interpretation and destiny, comes together intricately. Two thumbs up.
