The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
3.0
3.5 stars. I think that I let the hype on this one build my expectations up a little too much. I think this is beautifully written with a unique concept that I was intrigued with as it played out, but this one is SLOW and LONG. I love a good character driven novel, but I definitely need a plot that keeps me engaged as well. Also.....I am finding that most longer books that I am reading these days could have been just as effective (and maybe even more so) if there had been more editing to get rid of some of the repetition. Cut 100 pages off of this one, and it might have been a solid 4 stars for me :)
