This was amazing! I think this is the first fantasy novella I've read, and I'm so impressed with how much character development and world-building was done, and done well, with such few pages. Tutu is a great character and his story feels fully fleshed out in this novella. I feel like this story spent time on the important things, like Tutu's character and the unveiling of the plot, while glossing over the things that were appropriate to gloss over like the magic and power systems. I was totally engaged the whole time and questions I had at the beginning of the story were answered by the end! Such a gripping, powerful story. I can't wait for the next novella!! Also side note, but Tutu reminds me a lot of Tau from The Rage of Dragons and I love that 🥰
