this is definitely my favorite duology of all time. i cared so much about the characters, felt their highs and lows, rooted for them and felt concerned for them. the writing style was beautiful and i can't understand how could Leigh Bardugo invent such a great story with all the city's politics, merchers' greediness and how could she make my favorite character (Kaz of course) so intelligent. things he did in this second book were surprising, everything so neatly planned and i could have never guessed the things he was capable of thinking to do. i can't believe i'm finished with the story, i'm gonna miss them all so much 😭
