I liked this one more than the first book. It flowed a little better and I connected with the characters a little more. The pacing was still a little off, making odd time jumps in awkward places and I'm still not a fan of the way it's divided up by periods instead of chapters. I did really enjoy seeing repeat characters from the first book, but find it a little difficult to believe that the Russian character hadn't learned any more English in six years despite being around English speakers for 9 months out of the year.
