How can you not love Amelia Bedelia? She's everything a comedic character should: unironically earnest, delightfully screwy, and completely clueless as to her mistake. Amelia Bedelia cannot interpret anything figuratively. She only deals in literal translations. Dressing the chicken involves crafting an actual outfit for it. Luckily for Amelia, she can always save her job by baking a delicious pie. Or maybe not, considering she works a series of jobs. Oh Amelia, your suffering serves as our humor. Such is life. Recommended!
