I went into this story with no clue how I’d feel about it. I had the pleasure of reading the book AND listening to the full cast audiobook! I think where some science fiction can lack in world building and detail, this one eats us up with a full scoped world and everything you’d hope to know. Not to mention such a “lasso” wielding Wild West feeling technical world at that. It’s enjoyable, fun, adventurous, and full of a great time. If you’re a fan of sci fi this is definitely something you have to read at LEAST once.
Thank you @galaxy_press for my gifted copies! This was a great ride.

Thank you to tbrandbeyondtours and the author!
I think this book needs to be a MUST READ for middle grade kids. The overarching themes of self love, strength in our emotions and feelings, to try try try again, and that our friends are one of the biggest assets we can have! I think for kids who don’t want the same story over and over with normal tropes and easy plots will LOVE this. It was quite intense, nothing inappropriate, but it really gave its all in a way you usually don’t see in this age range. It’s unique in its own way and it had me absorbed, considering I’m well out of the reader range on this one.

Thank you to NetGalley for my copy in exchange for an honest review!
A young adult book with tons of potential, House of Marionne is here to give dark academia vibes mixed with beautiful feminine rage. Now this story is most definitely aimed at the younger side of young adult but considering the plot, world building, and characters throughout you would still find this read quite enjoyable. I do think there were a few bumps in the road but overall I finished it and was happy I gave it a try! I did really like our main character, Quell.
