I really wanted to love this book. I didn’t dislike it, I just found myself not wanting to reach for it all the time. And when I was reading it I didn’t want to binge it or not put it down. It wasn’t bad, just not as great as I was wanting it to be.

I really enjoyed this book! I was in a reading slump when I started it so it took me longer to read than I think it normally would. And I found some of the beginning slow to start. However the characters being so endearing kept me engaged. The second half just absolutely blew me away and I can’t wait for the next book!

I’ve been wanting an adult version of Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes and this kind of gave me that! It had the suspense, a bit of a mystery, FBI, and some profiling in addition to great spice. I really enjoyed this!

Posey might be one of my favorite MMCs of all time. There were parts of this book that genuinely had me laughing out loud and giggling and kicking my legs. There is a 3rd act conflict, but no 3rd act breakup and I loved how the characters communicated and handled it so maturely!

This book was excellent! Has everything you could want in a cowboy romance! It was quite a 5 star because I felt like there was a LOT of inner monologue. The main characters still communicated well but some of the inner thoughts were a little repetitive. But it was still great and I can’t wait to read the next!
