I greatly enjoyed Nicky’s story. I did feel like there’s a minor plot hole that never gets resolved. There’s lots of steam, but it’s more about the relationships between characters than the hot scenes.

I really enjoyed this book, much more than I was expecting. The characters are great, and I identified with the FMC right away. The pace is a little slow for me, but moves along quicker the second half of the book. I love the quirkiness of the magic in this world, a big part of which I’ve never seen in another paranormal house.

I would have given the book five stars except for the giant plot hole at the end of the book.
