Really really enjoyed this one! Gay workplace/forced proximity romance with a lot of exploring of boundaries (which we love to see)! As a restaurant girly I’m here for a restaurant romance anyday!! This one is fun and full of feels! It’s out 7/23!
I definitely think I wanted to love this more than I did. it’s a family drama around a restaurant legacy, which literally sounds like it’s made for me. But the drama felt very one-dimensional and the characters weren’t people I necessarily would root for. You know I love an unlikable character, but I think Maren was the absolute worst!!

Bad people doing bad things is something I can always eat up in a book. This is the perfect book to bring on vacation. You’ll devour it and it’ll make you think twice about who you tell your secrets to at work!!!

Thank you Putnam for the e-arc. This one got me up in my feels like her other two books did. Ali is a single mom just trying to pick up the pieces after her separation and her mother’s death. In comes a meet cute that is actually a blast from the past and the sparks fly. It’s instantly swoony and so heartwarming. Ali’s emotions are on display and man was I rooting for her. Evan is a perfect man and that way he cheered her on and helped her get her confidence back… I can’t!!
Miscommunication wins again! This is a fun fake dating fake engagement romance with a dash of enemy energy. I really liked these characters and I was rooting hard for them!!
I haven’t been left speechless from a book in a long time. This one is peer pressure and wanting to belong at its finest. It’s so raw and to be in the head of the protagonist while she’s hitting rock bottom made me feel so sad/worried. As someone that in college did her fair share of the wanting to belong and drinking to fit in, I really really felt this one hard. It was beautiful and devastating and I’m glad a book like this exists!
This one is fun for thriller fans who don’t like the scary! It’s a whodunnit around a dating app serial killer. It’s hilarious and gave me Finlay Donovan vibes! I really liked the POV and I loved the backstory of the victims a.k.a. the men that the protagonist stated! I know this is a mystery, but those of us that I’ve experienced using dating apps I think can relate to some of the horrors lol
Her books have always been hit or miss for me but this was low key a hit. Idk why because vamps and warewolfs in love isn’t usually my cup of tea. But I was oddly very invested and I enjoyed a protagonist named misery! In true form this is quite spicy
This was a solid debut that made me laugh but also made me super emotional! You don’t have to be an office person to appreciate the drama of the workplace! Jolene was a relatable and oddly powerful character!! I loved her story and the chaos that she accidentally inspired!
