This was a fun, light scary story. Sometimes younger reading is just what I need.  It's like the cozy mysteries of the horror genre lol

Hmmm...well that was disappointing. I was expecting a lot more since this is marketed as a thriller, but that was....not.

For me, this was like binge eating Taco Bell at 4am because you've been out all night and are starving...only to regret it hours later. Bye, Baby starts off well but then it just dragged on and on and finished with a lackluster and unsatisfying ending.

There wasn't a character, outside of Alex and Jane, that I liked. Even Billie had me cringing. This was definitely not the book for me.

I do appreciate St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the review copy.  All opinions expressed are my own.

It's easy to love this author's books, especially at Christmas. Everytime I read, or listen, to one of her stories my heart is happy.

While I started and finished this today while diamond painting, I'm not sure this was for me. I absolutely love the narrator, but the story overall was underwhelming and overall just an ok read for me.

Oh man! Give me more of Hadley Cove please!! This was everything my romantic heart needed and then some.

Since the Day We Danced checks off so much:

Small Town Setting ✔️
Cottage by the Water ✔️
Community Togetherness ✔️
Second Chance at Love ✔️
Healing Hearts thru Love ✔️
Accompanying Playlist of Songs ✔️

and best of all

Animals playing a big part of the story. Absolutely loved Riley 😍

I don't read romance as much anymore since it's usually doesn't center on heart angst and feelings. This author is one of my favorites, ever since reading Pawprints on Our Hearts, so I was delighted to see he wrote a romance book. I cannot wait for the next Hadley Cove installment.

This also comes with a curated playlist of songs by the author which perfectly fits with the story.  It's available on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.  I listened to it and man does that add a whole other level to the story. Definitely give this a listen while reading.

If you love a good, clean romance that has all the makings of a Hallmark movie, this is the one for you. Grab this and bring tissues. I certainly needed them for the last few chapters.

This one has mixed reviews, but as a Sci-Fi fan, I really enjoyed it. The idea of a doppelganger, just popping into existence, is a favorite trope for me. Last to Leave the Room does this well, I think, and it made for a good story.

There is a lot of contemplation, especially towards the end, but that actually made this more interesting for me. Sometimes it works, and sometimes not, but this time it fit well.

If you're a fan of Sci-Fi, with a touch of horror, this is one to grab and read. I sincerely appreciate St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the review copy. All opinions expressed are my own.
