It was ok, but I found it very predictable. The prose was also not very good.

If your thinking about rereading this book to get nostalgia, especially if you read it as a kid, it will not disappoint. I convinced my middle-school aged sister to start the series, and she loves it and is already on book 3.

It din't quite rock me to my core as much as the first one, but I can't wait to see where the characters go next.
And I really loved the edition of the wings. They really turn Rin into a literal Phoenix, when she was already a metaphorical one.

This book is brilliant. It made me re-think my views on war and addiction. A must read if you love books that tear you down.

I enjoyed it, bu the male narrator's attempt at female voices got annoying very fast.

I really loved the majority of the short stories, although I didn't like a couple of the. The highs are as good as the original trilogy.

Better than Thunderhead, but I really hated the ending.

Middle book syndrome hit this book pretty hard.
