The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

Extremely underwhelming by the end. She was just miserable and rude but didn't say anything about her clinical depression and it felt like a load of diary entries with no plot or ending. Just rambling. Why is this a classic?

Absolutely amazing as any Tolkien book is.

I put this book off for a very long time because I heard reviews of it being "too difficult" and a "tough read" with all the names and places. I expected it to be a difficult read for myself too but it was so much fun learning and I kept up completely fine.

LOTR is one of my special interests and I've already watched multiple versions of the Hobbit and LOTR. I've seen ROP and read the, Hobbit, LOTR and Tom Bombadils adventures so I think that all definitely helped me understand this book more than someone who doesn't know as much so it's justified that a lot of people struggle with this book.

Reading Chloé's story and how optimistic she has always been is so empowering. As someone who is neurodiverse myself I found some lovely tips and reading the validation to be myself has made me feel better and more unapologetic about my triata and symptoms. This has been my favourite book so far this year (even if it's just book 4)

THANK YOU CHLOÉ! ✨✨✨
I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

I don't have enough words to explain how much I loved reading this. Jennette is so raw with her words and really makes the reader understand things that have happened in her life. So happy she's recovering! I'll have to research more into her OCD as it's only explained lightly and brief but she doesn't hold back on various strong topics. Good on her for sharing her story and being brave enough to do so

It would of been 4 stars as I didn't like a couple of the short stories and one did not make any reference to Alice in Wonderland at all but some were so good it made the star back up. I'm so glad I found this book

The plot twists I didn't see coming. Kind of guessed one but it was still crazy
